Dimapur, October 24: The 22nd Classic Cup 2016 organised by the Classic Club, Kohima will be held from November 10-30 at Khuochiezie Kohima local ground under the theme “dream courage to achieve”.
The tournament would carry a cash prize of Rs. 1, 50,000 for the champions, Rs. 80,000 for the runner-up team respectively and Rs. 2, 00,000 for individual prizes, a press release informed.Organisers of the tournament have informed all interested teams to submit their entry fee along with players list in the prescribed form on or before November 4, 2016. By-laws of the tournament are available at M/s Kohima Sports World, Opposite Bank of Baroda and M/s Vaude Villa Hardware Dzüvürü, Kohima opposite Belho Gas Service, Kohima.
Meanwhile, president of Classic Club, K Neibou Sekhose has informed that there will be a meeting on October 26, 5.30 pm at 2K Hotel, Kohima. All members of Classic Club are requested to attend the meeting.
